In May, Lukas, one of Ukraine’s leading confectionery companies, participated in two major international exhibitions — PLMA 2025 “World of Private Label” in Amsterdam (Netherlands) and THAIFEX – Anuga Asia 2025 in Bangkok (Thailand).
As part of PLMA – World of Private Label, held on May 20–21 in Amsterdam, the company showcased its capabilities in producing sweets under private label brands. The event brought together over 2,600 participants from 70 countries, serving as a powerful international platform for establishing new connections and highlighting Ukraine’s confectionery potential.
During the exhibition, successful meetings were held with existing partners from Denmark, Poland, Kosovo, Sweden, and other countries. Promising new contacts were also established with distributors from Western Europe, paving the way for the brand’s further geographic expansion.
Immediately afterward, the team traveled to Thailand for THAIFEX – Anuga Asia 2025, which took place from May 28 to June 1 in Bangkok. This exhibition is considered one of the most influential in the Asia-Pacific region, uniting participants from over 50 countries.
Lukas presented its products to Asian partners, emphasizing new flavors, modern packaging design, and high-quality raw materials. Negotiations were held with partners from Vietnam, Japan, Myanmar, and other representatives of Asian markets. The exhibition provided an opportunity to better understand local preferences and consumer expectations, which will serve as a foundation for adapting the product range for Asian countries.
“This year, we participated in the PLMA exhibition for the first time, and we were truly impressed. The incredible demand and interest in Ukrainian sweets, effective communication, and valuable contacts made it a great experience. Thaifex Anuga Asia is a more familiar format for us, as this was our second time participating, but it surprises us every year. Innovative products, exotic flavors, and a modern approach inspire us to develop new offerings. Participating in these two exhibitions was a crucial step in advancing the company’s export strategy. We not only strengthened our ties with international partners but also received a powerful boost for entering new markets. Very soon, Lukas products will be available in even more countries,” said Kira Bulik, Deputy General Director for Foreign Sales.
The Lukas export team held dozens of business meetings with potential importers, distributors, and retail chains. They returned with new contacts, ideas, and inspiration for continued growth.
Lukas continues to confidently expand the presence of Ukrainian sweets worldwide, offering high-quality products that combine innovation, flavor, and national identity.
