The Lukas team participated for the first time in the international chocolate festival ChocoArt, held annually in the German city of Tübingen. This event provided an excellent opportunity to present their hometown, Kremenchuk, as a partner city of Tübingen.
Despite the challenging situation in Ukraine and the long journey to Germany, Lukas representatives showcased their resilience and high level of confectionery craftsmanship. As Kira Bulik, the Head of the International Relations Department, noted: “There is no road to happiness; happiness is in the journey.”
At the festival, Lukas presented a wide range of its products: candies, bars, Christmas candy sets, and signature croissants, which have already gained popularity in over 55 countries worldwide.
The very first day of the fair demonstrated the high demand for Ukrainian sweets abroad. A particularly touching moment was when the Lukas stand became a gathering place for Ukrainians currently living in Germany due to the war. People came not only for the sweets but also to embrace, speak their native language, and share their stories. Ukrainian carols were sung, smiles mingled with tears, and a shared belief in Ukraine’s victory united everyone.
The ChocoArt fair was not only an opportunity to introduce the world to Lukas products but also an important step in strengthening cultural and economic ties between the partner cities of Kremenchuk and Tübingen.
The Lukas team is confident that participating in this festival will become a cherished tradition!
